As the due date gets closer and closer, I have been doing mathematical exercises to figure out the probability that each day will be The Day. If there is a 50% chance a baby will be born on or before the due date, and it's a shallow curve, then 5 days out there should be about a 10% chance of giving birth on any of the next 5 days...but if that day passes, and there are only 4 days left, then there is a 12.5% chance, and so forth. So if I make it to Wednesday there is a 50% chance it will happen that day, but less than a 5% chance it will happen on Thursday or any of the next 13 days; but not really, because my doctor will induce before it comes to that. You see how this can occupy a pregnant woman's restless mind.
*sigh*
I am very large.
Liam was giving us some encouragement tonight, and it was especially cute with his 2-year-old pronunciation. "Baby Buzzer, come out! It's your birsday!"
