Keep them babies rolling...Liam rolled over last week for the first time, from back to front. Now morning finds him in odd contortions, such as on his stomach with his legs tangled in the bars of the crib, or with his head pushed into the corner. Hopefully he will soon learn to roll from front to back so that he can manuever into a more comfortable position.
I tried making my own baby food this weekend, with mixed results. The first time I boiled the carrots dry and had to throw them away. Then I made another batch of carrots and potatoes and put them through the food grinder but Liam didn't like them at all, which is highly unusual since he usually gobbles up whatever you put in front of him. Next I pureed them into a very creamy Baby Smooshie (sort of like a smoothie but with veggies) and that was a little more palatable.
There are a lot of new noises coming from the Boy. When he has his eyes on the prize, whether it be spoon, bottle or breast, he squawks like a baby pterodactyl. He also can hum a little tune, which is really cute, and make a razzing noise with his tongue.
