Yesterday our family was talking about what kinds of things we do and don't eat. We agreed we wouldn't eat a mouse, unless we were really starving and there were no other options. I asked Liam if he would eat a cow.
"No way, I would not eat a cow."
"Would you eat a hamburger?"
"Yes, I do like hamburgers." (In case you haven't caught on by reading this blog or knowing Liam, he always answers in complete sentences, and has done so since age two. It's just the way he is.)
"Guess what? Hamburgers are made out of squished up cows." Liam ponders this for a moment, then laughs.
"That's just kidding!"
"No really, they are."
"Well I don't think that's true."
So now his assignment is to research where hamburgers come from. Boy is he in for a surprise.
wonder if you'll have a vegetarian on your hands then... :)
