A new baby started at day care today, and Liam told me all about it on the way home. "Jeannie feeds the baby a bottle, because she doesn't have those milk things on her tummy like you, Mama."
Speaking of which, I finally weaned Timothy a couple weeks ago. I thought he would never give it up. Ever since he turned one, I only let him nurse first thing in the morning. When I picked him up out of his crib, he would paw and sniff me in a way that started out cute when he was an infant, but was starting to become less and less cute. I joked that by the time he was weaned, he would be able to go get his own glass of milk from the fridge. Anyway, one day he just didn't act interested, and that was that. Ever since then it's like his memory has been wiped clean.
Liam, on the other hand, will not soon forget my amazing powers of lactation.
