We passed this milestone with great hoopla, perhaps more than Liam's first birthday. Will took the train to meet us at the hair salon after work, so that he could snap lots of pictures and reassure the boy. (After it was all over, I offered to hold Liam and he shook his head no, and said DADDY. So I guess he was happy that Will came along!) This salon is in the basement of Lisa's house - that's her in the picture - and she acted for all the world like having a 1-year-old in her chair was a big treat. Liam shed a few tears, mostly because he was uncomfortable in the cape. Half way through, he announced that he was "done." But overall he did great, and his haircut looks cute.
