| Construction Cake = Success |
Timmy is three today! When I woke him up this morning, I asked, "do you know what day it is?" He grinned and said simply, "cake." And what a cake! The most impressive part, to me, was the inside which was striped like construction tape. I am still congratulating myself for pulling that off. The kids liked the edible candy rocks. We did a little party with local grandparents, talked to the Wisconsin grandparents on the phone, and had a dramatic moment of sibling jealousy. The 310 piece Lego set remained taped shut, by the grace of God and my firm insistence; that would have overloaded the circuits. And now, the kids are in bed...and I just might join Will in eating a second piece of construction cake.
