I am doing sort of a triathlon today: 10 mile bike ride, 3 mile walk, and in place of the swimming segment, hopefully a bath! Yeah, it's the not-so-athletic mommy version.
Actually I have been getting in better shape. I'm three weeks into an eight week training program for a 5K, so I've been jogging three times a week. So far I don't actually like running, mostly because my knees ache, but I do like the results. After a couple months of exercising regularly, there's already a noticeable difference in my stamina, my pace...and my butt.
At least my mother thinks so. She gave me a back handed compliment the other day, by observing that I no longer have Computer Butt. I had never heard this phrase before, but I knew exactly what it meant!
