Liam and Timothy made turkeys yesterday by tracing their hands and gluing on paper feathers. On each feather we wrote something they are thankful for. I chose Milk, Liam, and Phone for Timothy - three of his favorite things. Liam came up with his own: Timothy, Mama, Daddy, and Granola Bars! He also drew some interesting feet on his turkey.
The artistry continued with a lattice top cherry pie, which was later served at Will's mom's house. She and Grandma Betty celebrated birthdays this past week. Betty is now 96. After a fall and some other medical problems in the past few months, she has started using a walker, and as she ages she has some good days and bad days. Yesterday was a good day.
