Bad Grammar

I was singing yesterday, during dinner, like Bill does:

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat
How I wonder where you're at

I commented that it wasn't proper grammar, and Liam wanted to know what that means, so I offered an example. "I am eating my dinner" is proper grammar. "I are eating his dinner" is not proper grammar. Liam laughed, but I wasn't sure if he really understood.

Later, he called to me from the bathroom. "Mama! I...I...I..." When Liam stammers like that, it can mean trouble. Finally he came out with, "I are going pee. Hahahahahaha!!"
