We've seen the light

Yesterday Liam finally crawled, and Will happened to catch it on video. After weeks of rocking, scooting backward, and moving his legs - but not his arms - so that he would fall flat on his face; it was as if a light went on in Liam's brain.

He also got his 7th tooth, learned to wave bye-bye, pointed at the bear's tongue in our animal book, and tonight he did "so big," which is the cutest thing EVER. Daddy took him for his 9 month checkup this morning, and he weighs just over 21 pounds. That is not huge, but he sure seems big to us, especially when we wedge him into those overalls that were so big on him in September.

But what I'm REALLY excited about is...new lights in the kitchen!!! Thanks to a couple of charming electricians, Dave and Shorty, we have 4 new can lights in the kitchen ceiling. When I got home from work tonight, Will flipped the switch, and I was so excited that I jumped up and down shrieking like I had won the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. I can actually see the counters. I have cabinets, not caves. I hear sweet angelic voices every time I turn on that switch (and I have tested this at least a dozen times). Wahoo!
